Ah, the good old hurricane-is-coming-this-way drill. I know this one all too well. I was tempted to brush it off this time, but Mama MDF made sure to nudge me to get my ducks in a row. Everyone on the coast knows that 9 times out of 10 absolutely nothing happens (other then getting some bonus time off of school), but then there’s that one (Katrina, you jerk). So lesson learned: There’s no harm in having some extra bottled water and cash around for a rainy day.

I barely have the nerve to swim in the open water as it is. Add waves and there is no way in hell. PLZ STAY AWAY OR STALL OR SOMTHING. Kthx.
