Ok tumblr friends. I know a lot of you have recently gotten into the workout, eat healthy, lose weight, and tone up mode, but here comes the tough part, winter! So, here’s my solution: At 6:30 tonight you can get talked into training for and completing an endurance event. I’ve hated every winter in NYC since I’ve moved here, so I’m sucking it up, refusing to gain the winter weight, refusing to slip back out of shape, and determined to enjoy this season even though it goes against my very being.
When I went to this meeting 1.5 yrs ago the thought of a marathon seemed impossible, and a triathlon hadn’t even crossed my mind. Now, here I am, signing up for my 3rd event, mentally ready to do my 5th and 6th events. And it all started with this meeting.
So, if you’re up for the challenge, ready to change your life forever (I’m not being redic about this, promise), ready to prove something to yourself, AND do some good in the world, then come meet Strle (!) and myself at 6:30pm. Stephanie will be there too!
