THIS. IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING!!! WORLD DOMINATION HAS BEGUN!!!!!!!!!!!

DOTGO has flipped the switch on in Colombia on Tigo, the first of many carriers/countries we’re working to launch on/in. The team has been slaving away for months to get this all in place. Contracts, APIs, crazy technical dotgo-telco integration, user testing, and now finally, marketing (er, and also in another language. phew!). Feels soo good.

Day 1

Yeah, I’m trying this. Who knows, it might help me set some good habits in stone. The goal is no processed, refined sugar, flour, dairy, pasta, bread, etc, while trying to eat 70% raw. Mom ate about the same, but I think she had a green juice smoothie for breakfast, and no coffee or banana (they are not on the cancer diet list).

Egg whites, avocado, cilantro, spinach, Himalayan salt; coffee w/ almond milk + half and half (different cup of coffee)

Almond milk, green tea, handful of raspberries and blackberries

Salad w/ super greens, red grapes, red bell pepper, avocado, cucumber, flax seed oil, olive oil, raw apple cider vinegar, lemon juice

Smoothie w/ apple, kale, cilantro, parsley, water, arugula, spinach, red grapes

Banana, spoonful of greek yogurt (I can’t find Fage anywhere here :/Other greek yogurt is a little gross), handful of almonds

Kale, potato, white bean soup with garlic and water/vegetable broth; Baked Salmon, asparagus, pine nuts, olive oil, tiny amount of bread crumbs and seasoning

I was super hungry during the day, then happily satisfied after dinner. Need to balance it out a little more, but I think I got pretty close to the raw ratio.

It’s delicious, makes me feel good, and it doesn’t require cooking (a little sad about that). However, I’m STARVING. Who’s got some tips for me? How in the world do I eat enough when I’m avoiding dairy, sugar, flour, most grains, and meat?

True Story: My Mom Has Cancer

So needless to say I’ve stepped up (and headed down south) to help her kick cancer in the f*cking face, because that’s how we do.

Any and all prayers are much appreciated. Her name is Marie, and the cancer is hiding out in her uterus, but it won’t be for long.

For now, this blog’s topic of conversation might shift a little (tho cute things will still be a hot topic of conversation) to include cancer diet and treatment ish. Hope someone finds it helpful, and please do send any and all resources my way if you or a family member/friend has found them helpful while going through the whole process.

Now back to my *new* mostly-raw diet lunch. I’ll be playing along with mom as we fight this thing together.
