OK, $2.8M for something (I’ll give it to you) that 40 M will watch. Exclude the poeple that will mute or FF through your commercial and let’s say that’s 30M. So you’re willing to pay about a 10 CPM for something that will show only once and unless it’s really clever, NOT get passed around afterward.
OK, you just want 30M eyeballs in one swoop, I get it. But please absorb this: Funding Internet-distributed scripted content will cost you less and get you even MORE traffic AND keep on getting you traffic (exposure) and that’s an ad-buy that keeps on giving.
