My NYE plans...
Involve being in Times Square from 4pm till 12: 30am, hanging out on the Nivea Hugs and Kisses stage at 46th between 7th and Broadway with Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo, kissing my date for the NYE practice kiss (!!), cheering for Daughtry and JLo and the other musical performances, wearing a giant blue Nivea hat, putting on Nivea lip care like I'm getting paid for it (full disclosure: I am), counting down to 2010 in the middle of it all, and kissing my date again (!!!) for national television when the clock strikes 12.
I suspect this will be a New Year's Eve to remember : )

– I kinda wanted to hate this, thinking it’d be yet another cheesy “the Saints are saving New Orleans” cliche-laden essay, but Wright Thompson absolutely nailed it, leaving me with Goddamn tears in my eyes by the time I was finished reading the whole piece. (via cajunboy)
